 This strip was drawn in honor of Brodie’s last week before he left for College. It was on my ideas list for a while, so this was the time to do it. This one required no new drawings at all, I just recropped characters I’d already drawn. The animation required only rotating and flipping the characters so which character they were facing changed. I like to think that’s part of the charm of it, but feel free to think of it as laziness. To make it work everywhere, I did this by making an animated GIF file, a format that’s been around almost 20 years, and is natively supported in all web browses without  any plug-ins. The original strip showed the lyrics a stanza at a time, but I’ve reformatted here so you can read them in all their glory at once. I think the original idea/phrase “The Brodie Bunch” came up in a comment in the forum, but I don’t remember now who it was, so I can’t give them credit (sorry).
