I looked forward to drawing this one for a long time, so I could draw Brian Boitano and “super” Patrick Cooper. I knew the Whitnesses would love having Patrick Cooper be one of the heroes. Brian Boitano is just a meaningless nod to the South Park movie and TV show.
I needed to have Team Hate appear, but my memory failed me once again, and I couldn’t remember who is a hater aside from A.J. (and me.) So I picked Spike, and hoped he didn’t get pissed at me.
Since I had to show a piece of the Pop Candy web page where Whitney has a link to email her, I decided to add an “easter egg” to the comic. If you click on the email me link or Whitney’s name in the comic, it opens up a new email message on your computer addressed to Whitney, with the subject line filled in as “Wh!tless is Great! Jason should be getting PAID for this!”
Sorry, Whitney, if you got a lot of these emails, it was only supposed to be a joke!
